Character control A big issue this game has is with it's most basic elements, immedietly I noticed that character movement just feels "off". The navigation through the city also varies from character to character, although everyone can use the batcycle. Combat abilities vary from close to range abilities, with a couple of fun twists here and there, all unique to the individual characters. The characters have a huge range of customisation and development, including skills and special abilities. The 4 new protagonists, however, let us experience what it means to be a protector in Gotham now that the dark knight is gone. The main story is a typical Gotham story but without its usual protagonist, the Batman, who's been allegedly killed. Gotham is beautiful, dark and full of life (mostly criminals). The quite opposite, they are trying to bring the ratings down for this otherwise great game. Most of these bad reviews are from fans of the Arkham games series who only like what they like and are not even willing to make an effort. Players must save Gotham from descent into chaos and reinvent themselves into their own version of the Dark Knight.
